Proporta Releases Accessories for the Nokia N800
Ok, so it isn’t the N95, but the N800 is a pretty impressive device unto itself. The ability to instant message your friends, surf the Internet, and pick up your email are common features among recently released devices – however the Nokia n800 Internet Tablet’s design makes performing such tasks even easier than many other devices. A large screen, however, leaves your connectivity vulnerable from day to day hazards on the move.
Enter the Proporta Alu-Leather Case (Nokia n800 Series). A strong sheet of aircraft grade aluminum built inside quality leather, ensures your device screen is protected from crushing and impact shocks, without ruining the aesthetics of Nokia’s design.
The Alu-Leather Case is custom designed to fit the exact specifications of your new Internet tablet and all ports and controls are accessible within the case for your convenience.
The screen is still vulnerable from scratches and smudges when the case is open, which can easily be combated using a Proporta Advanced Screen Protector. Made from ultra-high clarity plastic, and being slightly thicker than rival brands – this screen protector is easy to apply without air bubbles, is washable and replaceable and also reduces glare from overhead lighting.
Oh, and for those of you lucky enough to find yourself in possession of the N95…Proporta has you covered as well. Cases and accessories for the newly released Nokia N95 are also available to order now from www.proporta.com

that above review is a load of rubbish. is the reviewer just copying and pasting bits from some other review??
the nokia n800 is NOT a phone, nor does it have a pop-out keyboard. everything is done via the touch screen using stylus or fingers.

Hi, Dave, thanks for reading JAMM and for your comments. You are absolutely right, the N800 does not have a slide out keyboard. I believe that was an error in the press release this article was based on. We’ll make a change in the article. I do see where there was a reference to this being a phone. That should read Internet tablet.
Anyway, I would point out that this was not a review, and was not intended to state our opinion of this case. It was simply an announcement that Proporta had released a new case. Sorry for any confusion there.
Doug
