You might be a super-dork if…

Your mailbox is a Mac. Geek = no. Nerd = no. Dork = yes.

For The Record:
A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.

TAKE THE TEST… no spam I promise.

ME: You scored better than half in Geek, earning you the title of: Pure Geek.

“You scored better than half in Nerd, earning you the title of: Pure Nerd.

The times, they are a-changing. It used to be that being exceptionally smart led to being unpopular, which would ultimately lead to picking up all of the traits and tendences associated with the “dork.” No-longer. Being smart isn’t as socially crippling as it once was, and even more so as you get older: eventually being a Pure Nerd will likely be replaced with the following label: Purely Successful.

Congratulations!”

I agree … that seems to be the way things are heading. I remember back in high school if I would have taken one of these quizes and been labeled a geek (or if any of my friends would have labeled me as such) I would have been crushed. Now, I’m more than happy to proclaim I’m a bit of a geek (okay a lot of a geek).

Thankfully, I was able to shed the glasses (got those when I was 11 … lasik in my late 20s) so now atleast I still get the title of “hot” geek from my wife :)
