Saw this today over at Giveaway of the day. If you’ve never checked this website out I suggest you do. Basically they give you a free software title everyday… the catch is you can only install it that day. If you want to re-install it later, you pay. The nice thing is if you never change systems, you’ll never have to buy the program.

Crystal2Mobile is a bundle of C2M Player, the video player for the Symbian smartphones and C2M Producer, PC desktop tool, enabling convenient and fast DVD content conversion into mobile-friendly format.

I wrote to the Giveaway of the Day team about three weeks ago to ask a support question but they never even acknowledged the email.

I want to know if there’s any way of retaining the “registration” of an application. Like many techies I format my Windows box every 6-8 months and there’s no point in my taking an app and enjoying it for a couple of months before needing to pay for my ‘giveaway’.

Do any JAMM readers know the answer?

Melvynadam, the answer to your question, I believe, is no, you would not be able to do that. The registration is only valid within the period of time of the giveaway. I think it says in the rules that if you uninstall and reinstall then you will not be able to use the registration code later.
