Oops, we made a little booboo! But we sure had fun. Our plan was to post one fake story and give prizes to the 3-4 people who figured out the stinker. But little did we know that many of the feeds we get stories from were April Fools Jokes themselves! So the joke’s on us!

But there’s a bit more. When I dreamed up the story about the Heads Up Display with email / internet on the windshield, I never imagined that anyone in their right mind would actually do that. So I thought I had the perfect fake story. I was so excited. It’s not easy to fool the smart techies out there. Head Up Displays really exist, and I thought this one would just be right on the edge of reality. But then I actually found this story to be real. So I had to come up with another fakey.

HTC was the perfect target. The Superphone Pen. Come on, that’s some cool stuff! But everyone went for the iPhone story b/c PocketNow admitted their story was an April Fool’s Joke, thus ruining a good made up story and April Fool’s Day Contest here by accident. Oops. Behind the scenes at the JAMM World Headquarters, we were freaking. That’s when I posted that the PocketNow iPod story wasn’t really ours.

So…what we’re going to do is take the people who guessed iPhone and Superphone Pen, put their names into a hat, and give the first 3-4 we pick, a random prize from the random prize bin. I hope everyone thinks that’s fair. It’s the fairest solution we could think of.
