Frenchy says farewell to all – Aximsite


Typically I’m not one to get all blubbery when someone says goodbye to everyone over at Aximsite. I’ve found over time that many say goodbye, but few ever do…  in this case I think a serious loss for the mobile community has taken place and the least we can all do is say a fond farewell to a great guy and a super moderator.

For those who aren’t in the know, many of us here at JAMM got our start hanging out on arguably the best forum based site for mobile geeks (and those on their way to geekdom) Aximsite.com. So I think it’s fair to say that not a single one of us isn’t going to feel some sort of loss after having heard this news. I have to think if there’s one person (aside from Chris) that made Aximsite a great place to be, and gave you a sense of belonging it was Frenchy…

So – from all of us here at JustAnotherMobileMonday –

Farewell Frenchy, we’ll miss you.

I’m not part of the Aximsite community but even I recognize that avatar. Of course it’s really sad if a loyal and long-time member leaves a community but I can’t stop to think that this is an April fools joke. If it’s not – then this comment is not really nice, but announcements like this on a day like this just cause this suspicion. ;)

Actually, he made an unofficial announcement to the staff over at Aximsite a day or two ago. So, I would tend to believe that he at least intends to leave for a while.
