DST Patch – Keep It Installed!
![]() |
Daylight Savings Time occurred 3 weeks earlier this year. Sure, one could manually adjust the clocks of their mobile devices but this can and will lead to havoc! Why? For one thing, the operating system of one’s mobile device still has the old rules for DST. Thus, it will re-adjust one’s clock in 3 weeks causing people to need to re-adjust the clocks again. To make matters even more complicated, DST for fall is also different than then norm this year and requires this limbo of readjustments again 2 more times – 1 for the actual DST and 1 more to correct the mobile device which went with the old DST settings.
So, keep those DST patches installed or reinstall them if one’s device was hard reset to avoid all the chaos of:
Switch the clock ahead…switch the clock back…switch the clock back…switch the clock ahead….
Here are the available patches for your mobile device.

So it’s not in my ROM? What a cluster. And now they are in conflict. How about a simple ROM update, Dell?
