– Let’s play a game of what the hell is that?

Silver Bullet?

How about a "toy"?

How about a small whoopin for Microsoft by a 16 year old Girl?

If you picked whoopin - you win! The picture above is of a nifty little device that allows you to "beam" your iPod music to anyone within a 15′ circle around you … designed by a 16 year old girl that lives with the problems in sharing music, instead of 50-something CEO’s that don’t even know what the heck an MP3 is.

Now, I see a few problems with the overall concept already, and a few ways they possibly could have avoided having to build their own. But I have to assume if the kid came up with the concept – she knows the problem with sharing music a heck of a lot better than I do, since I haven’t been on a school bus in over 15 years.

Wow, she invented wireless headphones. I wish I had thought that up.

A little more than that… but the overall concept is pretty close. :)

I thought of it more like a short range FM transmitter/reciever. Either way, it obviously addresses the issue she had for sharing with her friends

The review proper contained useful info and it’s refreshing to know that a smart 16-year old came up with this nifty invention. But do we have to put up with more disgusting adult themes and language? Remember this forum’s readership includes youngsters.

Given I have a youngster of my own, I’m fully aware of the language they use (spend 5 minutes on a school playground) … there’s not a thing in that post that would have offended a single one of them.

However, with that said, Point taken and post adjusted accordingly.

It’s actually a pretty cool idea, but it’s live sharing, not file sharing like the slightly busted Zune feature. It’s like you become one of up to five radio stations that you can use this product to receive. I wonder what frequency bands they use, FM, or some other consumer-accessible band.
And, no reason you couldn’t slip that puppy on any other digital music player, CD player, or radio.
p.s. the kid came up with the idea, but daddy engineered it.
