NewsBreak – New Version 2.0 Released!
Ilium Software has just released NewsBreak 2.0 for Windows Mobile Pocket PCs and Smartphones.
With this new version of this leading RSS program, you can:
- Listen to your favorite podcasts, watch vidcasts, and view attached files and images!
- Schedule your podcasts to download when and how you want them – even separately from your other channels
- Save your podcasts and listen to them whenever you have time for a news break
- Never run out of memory – keep podcasts on a storage card or tell NewsBreak how much space to use in main memory
Ilium is offering some amazing price incentives for you to give this new version a try as well. If you bought NewsBreak 1.2 after December 6, 2006, the upgrade to version 2.0 is free, on the same platform(s) for which you bought NewsBreak 1.2. If you bought NewsBreak more than 90 days from the release (before December 6, 2006), you can get this upgrade for $7.95 for your Windows Mobile Pocket PC or Smartphone.
For full pricing details, check the NewsBreak page HERE

I hope that my license for v1.2 (that I won here on this blog) entitles me to a free upgrade.

If it doesn’t entitle you to a free upgrade automatically (but I doubt that), just contact their customer support. I can’t be sure of course but I think you’ve got a pretty good chance of getting the upgrade.
