When Walmart and Target carry GPS units, then it’s time to realize that GPS has gone from a curiousity, to a cutting edge technology, and finally now to a commodity.  So how does a company like Tomtom differentiate itself? 

The new TomTom Go 715, an all in one GPS, is said to have the ability to make and receive phone calls and text messages via a SIM card slot.  It also has Bluetooth for hands free calling.  No pricing is available yet, but there should be more info at CeBit.
