WM6 RDP (Terminal Services) Port Runs On WM5

Via: Menneisyys’ Expert Blog at Smartphone & Pocket PC Magazine

Make sure you check it out if you need a DECENT RDP client (instead of the, to put it mildly, far-from-perfect built-in Terminal Services Client) on your WM5 Windows Mobile device.

Just installed this on a Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC Phone device, and it works nicely.

The main differences that strike you right away are better options and control for display colors, screen size, and sound, as well as a full login screen at the client end.

For more details see Menneisyys’ post linked at the top of this post or the xda-developers thread HERE

Click the “HERE” link in the post above – then look at post number three. That’s the only one I am aware of but I’d bve willing to bet it’s been posted a few other places.

Does anyone know if WM6 RDP client can work with login screen disabled? We need to login automattically and remove the login screen completely if possible?
