‘Push-Style’ Email for Everyone with PushEffect

Via: Pocket PC Thoughts

PushEffect – from QoreFunctions – offers push-style email for Yahoo Mail Plus, Gmail, and most other ISP POP3/ IMAP accounts.

It requires Windows Mobile 5 (Smartphone or Pocket PC edition). The big thing to think about is that it relies on SMS text messages to accomplish the ‘push’ effect (like Windows Mobile used to) – so you’d need to be sure to have an unlimited text messaging plan.

Its features include:

  • Adds New Features to the Messaging Application
  • Push-Style Automatic Message Retrieval
  • Keep Your EXISTING Email Account
  • Works with Gmail, Yahoo Mail Plus, most ISP, POP3, IMAP Accounts*
  • Monitors Multiple Accounts Simultaneously (Personal, Work, etc.)
  • Exchange Server/imap IDLE Server NOT required
  • No Need to Keep PC Turned On to use as Redirector
  • Automatically Sends Messages (No More Send/Receive)
