Free Ringtones – Endangered Species

Via: Yahoo Technology News

This is a good idea. The Center for Biological Diversity (based in New Mexico) is offering free ringtones with sounds from threatened species – like Arctic beluga whales, Central American poison arrow dart frogs, and the Mexican gray wolf.

The idea of course is that people downloading and hearing these ringtones will help raise awareness for these threatened animals. Some 24,00 people have already downloaded the ringtones.

For more details see the Yahoo Tech News story HERE.

To go get yourself a free ringtone, visit the Center’s site HERE.

The free ringtones link is towards top left of the page. My favorite is the Mexican wolf – and my dog seems quite interested by it as well.
