For quite a while now, I’ve been wanting to get a second site going – one with more of a forums and community emphasis to it. Here at JAMM, we have tinkered a lot with our forums, and now we have some that are basic but functional, and will improve in time.

But … JAMM is first and foremost a mobile news and reviews site, and we like it that way.

So … we’ve now launched a new site – called The Small Picture – which will be very forums and community-led – and will offer big talk and news on all of our favorite small-screened mobile devices – from UMPCs to smartphones, PDAs and portable media players.

The site is very raw (just launched today) and we’ve got lots of work to do – but you know that soon we’ll get together some great contests for forum members and all that good stuff.
