Unofficial Fix Released for Major Palm Security Flaw

As reported HERE by tjchan recently, a major security flaw in the Palm OS was recently discovered – the Find function remaining on and usable while a device is locked.

Well, now a (completely unofficial) patch has been released for this vulnerability. PalmInfoCenter notes that:

The new patch disables the Find application while the device is locked, protecting your data from prying eyes.

Please note this is an unofficial patch, created by an independent developer and is not supported by Palm in any way. Use at your own risk!
