Windows Mobile Security and Patch Management
I missed this article at Pocket PC FAQ the other day … but it’s still good knowledge no matter if its a couple years old or just written 3 days ago (which it was).
Anyway, the article takes a pretty high level view of security related issues as they pertain to securing mobile devices in the enterprise. A good refresher read for IT admins and users alike.
Topics covered:
ActiveSync Security
Power-On Password / Stored Passwords
Remote Wipe
Patches/AKu’s
