PC World – Fujitsu’s Ultraportable Tablet

James Martin over at PC World has a great little write up on my dream machine … the Fujitsu P1610.

I’ve been a fan of Fujitsu Subnotes for years, and I do mean years. The Fujitsu P2110 and P2120 seriously were the BEST subnotebooks ever made IMHO. Sure they were slow as snot on a sub-zero day … but they were incredible machines. They came with a nice sub-par battery like every notebook these days, but if you ponied up the extra cash you had the ability to add on not only an extended battery but a drive bay battery!!!! All told roughly 14 hours of battery life. One of these bad boys made the trip with me from DIA to Heathrow and ran pretty much the whole way. Man I wih they still made these things. Don’t try to pitch me the P7000 series either … been there done that. Just wasn’t the same.

My favorite line from the write-up: Keyboard: Not for Fat Fingers

Anyway, on you go … clicky the linky.
