Teksoft: Hard At Work, So You Hardly Have To Work

Posted by: dgoldring on Jan 31 2007

Teksoft, a relatively young company designing some really useful tools, programs, and utilities for the Pocket PC, has announced the release of three new (or newly updated) programs: CapturePro, BlueMusic, and Speedbooster.

CapturePro is a Desktop PC tool which captures screenshots of your PocketPC/Smartphone. The software consists of two main components: one runs on the Desktop PC, and the other one is deployed transparently to your mobile device.  Together, they allow your desktop PC to capture images of your PocketPC/Smartphone.  Additionally, if you are mobile or not able to sync with a computer, you can always take screenshots directly from your Pocket PC.  CapturePro also features:

  • An unlimited trial.  Install CapturePro and evaluate it for as long as you like. Buy it only when you are convinced that it fits your needs.
  • Built-In Wizard. The program will just walk you through the whole process of taking a screen capture.  In just a few steps with just a couple of clicks you will get the job done.
  • Transparency. The capturing process involves data interchange between the PC and the mobile device. Everything is transparent for the user, making the task as simple as possible.
  • Organization. CapturePro makes it easy to organize different screen capture sessions for different pieces of software.
  • Raw Images.  Capture Pro will create high quality raw image files or use the integrated JPEG technology to compress each of your screen captures to save disc space
  • Built-In zoom option, to resize your images automatically
  • Label your images with the built in text-over feature.  You can even change the text color or position.
  • Multishot capabilities allow you to start an automated process that continuously creates screen captures at a preselected frame rate.
  • Built in image pre-viewer: you will see your pictures, their parameters like resolution and disc space immediately they are downloaded from your mobile device

Additionally, Teksoft has also updated  BlueMusic. BlueMusic allows you to listen to and control music played on your WM2005 PocketPC or Smartphone with a Bluetooth headsets.  You can use BlueMusic for many audio formats, and even Skype or other VoIP software.  The new 1.0.510 version features:

Finally, Teksoft has updated Smartbar, which is now also available at the JAMM store.   Smartbar’s Today Screen Integration enhances both WM2003SE and WM5 devices, and  provides everything you need to make your device even smarter. Its high performance assures a perfect functionality that creates the impression that the Smartbar is a native part of your Today Screen.  Its high performance assures a perfect functionality that creates the impression that the Smartbar is a native part of your Today Screen.

Smartbar Suite brings a number of interesting new features to the functionality of your mobile device. Hi Folks!

I was looking for a review for BlueMusic, something detailed, to present some test cases and so.. no luck up to now, but hey, thanks for the article, I might try the other two products as well.

Back to BlueMusic, I just wanted to say that I’m happy with it, and that I do recommend it to others, as I can from my little experience with it. On their site there is this banner with the beating speaker (its also included in BlueMusic), it has some background music - by any chance does anyone know how’s playing that?

    Thanks, K.

    Kartie,

Sorry. You may have noticed I posted an article the other day that BlueMusic was recently updated to version 2.0.

I was originally hoping to review it, but it is for WM5 only, and I still have a WM2003SE device.
