Contest: Win a Copy of Iambic’s GoogHelper or TravelTalk
Deadline: Thursday, February 1, 2007. 8:00 p.m., EST
Iambic can help you find any information you need — When you need; How you need it; Where you need it; Even the language you want it in. Now, they’ll help a lucky few winners do all of this…for free. Iambic has generously offered to provide us with 4 copies of GoogHelper and 2 copies of TravelTalk. Read on to learn more about these great programs and to learn how to enter.

TravelTalk offers translations for nearly every travel situation right at your fingertips. It gives you the ability to converse in Spanish, German, French and Italian all the time–at a conference, during a flight, at a restaurant, while meeting new acquaintances, or traveling on a business or personal trip.
There’s no need to carry stand-alone translation devices or search cumbersome websites to translate a phrase, especially when you’re on-the-go. Furthermore, you won’t have to spend extra time looking for individual words in an attempt to assemble a meaningful sentence–TravelTalk even comes preloaded with hundreds of ready-made phrases.
GoogHelper is a snappy utility that helps you quickly launch various Internet searches using mobile friendly sites such as Google, Yahoo!Finance, Amazon, Wikipedia and more. Since it is a stand-alone application, it can even be mapped to any external button on your device; or added as an icon to your current Today-screen utilities.
So, now for the part you have all been waiting for. How to enter. As always, here at JAMM, it is as simple as writing your name. Post a comment, any comment to this post. Be sure to tell us whether you want to be eligible for TravelTalk, GoogHelper, or both. That is all you need to do for one entry. Download either program and send a screenshot to admin at justanothermobilemonday.com (replace the "at" with a "@") for a second chance to win. Oh, and what the heck. If you send a screenshot of both programs (two screenshots total) then we will throw your name in the hat once per screen shot (for a total of three chances to win).
One last thing, when you post your comments, don’t forget about the Stowaway Keyboard Contest which is ending this week as well. Be creative, funny, clever, or just plain silly to try to get Brandon’s attention. If he likes your post, you could win the keyboard, too.
Good luck everyone!!

Just bought GoogHelper like a week ago
Seriously – one of my favorite apps already … incredibly simple, and something I could do on my own through Google – but it’s a heck of a lot faster than doing it on my own.
In other words – Highly recommended!

Both programs look very nice. I’m going to be traveling to Germany to visit some family this coming Spring and although I know German I have to admit that I’m kinda rusty so having TravelTalk buy my side for those times when I have a complete brain freeze will definitely come in handy.
I’ll post my screenshots of TravelTalk on my device once I poke around and play with it a bit.

Be creative, funny, clever, or just plain silly to try to get Brandon’s attention…hmmm…I don’t think spamming would probably be a good idea…but it probably would bring attention…..
Oh well, from Dale Carnegie’s Golden Book:
p.2 #6. “Remember that a person’s name is to that person the sweeetest and most important sound in any language.”
Brandon! Brandon! Brandon! Brandon! Brandon! Brandon!

I was always a fan of the Spanish language, but only knew a little. When we visit Spain, this would be a great application on my PDA.
Anyway, I’ll try my best (sorry if I am wrong) …
Ponga mi nombre en el sombrero por favor, Gracias!
Cheers

Technogeek, I remember just enough of my high school Spanish to say nice job with the translation.
Guys, as if you could not tell from his other posts this morning, Brandon does not like much. So, if he recommends a program, then it must be amazing. So, check out Googhelper too. It looks like a great product for anyone who uses the Internet from a portable device.
