Gaze Into My Crystal Ball and See the Double Hinged Clamshell Phone from Verizon Wireless


 

MobilitySite is reporting that Verizon will soon be releasing the Samsung u740 dual hinge PDA phone. With this phone, you can answer calls or shoot photo’s on the 1.3 megapixel camera in standard portrait mode.  Then, switch to landscape mode to answer emails or text messages with a full QWERTY Keyboard.

The Samsung u740 will also feature:

  • 262K color – 176 x 220 screen 
  • Bluetooth 2.0
  • A WAP Browser 
  •  MicroSD Card Slot

Personally, I think this phone looks like it would be prone to breaking too easily, with so many swivel and swing points, but that is just me.  Keep watching this space, and Verizon Wireless for the official release.
