Would You Like To Buy A Magazine Subscription?? If Not, Then Read On.
If there is one thing we can all agree on, it is that we hate telemarketers. We hate having our dinner interrupted by someone calling to sell you something. I can make these statements because I spent one long, miserable summer selling magazine subscriptions over the phone (I was so bad at it, I couldn’t even sell magazine subscription renewals to people who already read the magazine.
Earlier, Chris Leckness at MobilitySite reported that telemarketers would imminently receive a list of cell phone number. Now, not only could they call you during the dinner hour, but you could be charged for the call on your cell phone. Chris reported that a National Do Not Call Register had been established, which would block all such calls on your cell phone for up to five (5) years. To register, just call 888-382-1222 from your cell phone (only the number from which you call will be blocked.
It turns out, the list which was reported does not exist (although a national cell phone directory much like the white pages has been in the works for some time)…it was a hoax (does anyone else see the irony in receiving a spam about…spam).
Nonetheless, I do already know some people who have received telemarketer calls on their call phones. So, even though the original message was designed to create a false panic, the message is still the same. These callers are out there and could call your cell phone. The National Do Not Call Register is real. It takes five seconds to register. I have done it and I have never received a telemarketing call on my cell phone. So, why not register and eliminate all doubt.

Agreed … been there done that. I put both my wife’s and my cell numbers on the DNC registry a while back and haven’t gotten a single call yet.
So yes the message may be a hoax, but get on the registry anyway~!

I definitely agree, Brandon. There is no good reason for not taking the 5 second to register.

Yeah. Most telemarketers giving their best selling out magazine subscriptions were like that. This kind of stuff is really tricky and terrible sometimes. But not with http://www.magazinesubscriptions.ws I think this is the best answer to all your woes. It also provides a quick and easy registration plus the satisfaction you really need. Try it and see for yourself!
