Tag … I’m so not it.

So I got tagged last week. Time to play a little game of here’s what I know tonight.

Here’s my taglist:

Amit from SBSH, PsionAndy at Mobility Site, ABF from Aximsite, Brandon Miniman from PocketNow and Susi Weaser ShinyShiny

PS: ABF – forward your post to me… I’ll put it up on JAMM for you. This was a JAMM team request to have you included in this, so you’ve got to follow through!

Here’s my spilling out of details. Prepare for the boredom.

1. Notice all of my posts are "Netsyd, Brandon aka Netsyd" or something similar. Sort of a stupid name don’t you think? Well there’s a good albeit long explanation of this. A while back I was a gamer. Big gamer. Lost my ex due to gaming (ok well partially but I won’t get too personal). Anyway, back in the days I went by the gaming tag SyD – I started with D|S (you CS people should know who used it) and since I got sick of being asked if they could join the clan I changed to DyS (Disturbed was taken… as was dysfunctional). Naturally this progressed over time to SyD, mainly because people understood how to say "Sid" but for some reason always felt the need to spell out D-Y-S. I keep the tag because I met a lot of good people over the time I played and I guess I always want to make sure they can find me.

2. I’m about as non-mobile a person as you can find. I don’t travel for my work, I rarely leave the city let alone the state. I traveled for many years and frankly I spent too much money on this house for me to think the Hilton is going to have better accommodations.

3. Shocker coming. I’m a glass is half-empty kinda guy. Actually the glass was half empty but some moron just spilled it kinda guy. I’m not a nice person … but I’m working on it everyday and my wife thinks that by the time I kick the proverbial bucket I might just be a glass is 1/3rd full kind of person!!

4. I’m a football fan, a hockey fan, a lacrosse fan, a real football (as in the non-american version) fan, and I can’t remember stats to save my life. I can watch a game the whole way through and not be able to tell you the first thing about who the QB is, what the Defesive Lineman’s names are… who had the most tackles, etc etc etc. You folks who can remember how many goals Sakic scored "X" years ago in the playoffs amaze me.

5.I love accents. (Mostly British ones) … This was a big quality I noticed in my wife when we first met and one of the things that attracted me to her. She’s got a pretty good southern accent (Alabama and Texass – no that wasn’t a mis-spelling Patrick) and talking to her on the phone you really get to hear it. Love the accents.

I always wondered where NetSyd came from.

Also, what is this glass you keep referring to??

Nice one Brandon!

On no. 1 – I still didn’t get it… *shrug*

I can relate no. 4 also. I’m not a stat kind of guy either, but I love sports. I do know some of the more prominent QB, or receiver, but the rest of the position I really don’t care.

This TAG thingy is cool. Luckily I’m immune to such tag. w00t!

Hey, NoWire, you had better go read SPM Winkel’s post again. You didn’t seem so immune. :)

Freak… I guess I’ve missed a lot for the past couple of weeks.

I really don’t write, so I should’ve been immune from gettin’ tagged. lol.

I guess, if I just ignored it, then no one will notice, and it will just go away.

Dude, Charlie. You can’t say I will ignore it and no one will notice…in public, and hope no one notices. Now we all know. :) Looks like you will have to make an entry. Maybe yours should be in the form of a cartoon. :)
