Palm fanatics everywhere still have reason to breathe a deep sigh of relief today as the Treo 750 has gone official for Cingular. - Engadget

The Treo 750 combines the Palm experience of a multifunction mobile phone with email, web browsing, messaging,  organization software and a robust application portfolio with Cingular’s next-generation 3G network. Its new compact design features an internal antenna, soft-touch finish, and contoured edges to make it comfortable in the hand. The Treo 750 also has a full QWERTY keyboard for easy messaging, a 1.3-megapixel camera, a bright 240×240 touch screen and support for Bluetooth® stereo headsets.

Great news for all those who’ve been waiting to get hold of Palm / Cingular’s flagship Windows Mobile Treo model. It’s the first Palm device to support Cingular’s 3G network – and an upgrade to HSDPA is on the way.

The 750 should be in stores this week, for $399 on a two-year contract, with online purchasing coming later this month.

Let us know if you’re planning to rush out and get one. Or did you already grab a Blackjack or some other rival instead of waiting for the 750?
