750 GB In the Palm of Your Hand

How do you fit up to 750 GB of data into the palm of your hand?  Until now, you would never, you didn’t.  Period.

Recently, however, Seagate (makers of numerous portable drives and storage solutions) announced the FreeAgent, a new pocket sized storage solution, offering from 12 to 750 GB of storage.

For those of you venturing to Las Vegas for the annual CES show (alas I will not be in attendance), be sure to stop by and visit Seagate to learn more about how they managed to fit such a gigantic drive in such a small box.  For the rest of you (like me) the FreeAgent is expected to start hitting your local Best Buy sometime in February.

SWEET! I’d love to get my hands on one of those. I can’t imagine such a tiny drive.

I felt the exact same way. Even the smallest one is twelve GBs. That is huge!!

Now, if only they would plug into a CF card. :)
