Verizon Will Offer Free Ringtones on New Years Eve

Verizon customers will be allowed to download a free ringtone from their phone on NYE. Just text "Tone" to the number 2007 and they’ll send you instructions on how to get your freebie ringtone.
Nice gesture from Verizon. Gizmodo also has some choice – and spot-on – comments on the nature of the current VZW Top 10 ringtones. 
But I suppose you can avoid those and find something tolerable to use.
