How Cool Would it be to have an SDIO GPS?

If you answered that question with a resounding, "That would be really cool," then this is the article for you.  Spectec recently announced the first SDIO GPS Receiver.  Just plug it into the SD card slot on your device and you are ready to go.  It even has an extra slot for a miniSD card on which you can store maps and other data.

The Spectec SDG-810 SDIO GPS features: a SiRF Star III with low signal levels and high sensitivity acquisition, a built-in GPS omni directional antenna, support for 20 Channel GPS all-in-view tracking accuracy, real time navigation for location based services, and a colored LED showing whether the GPS signal is fixed or searching.

This one looks too cool to pass up.  Hopefully, you will be able to see a review of this unit in the near future here at JAMM.   Check out the Spectec web site for a complete overview of this great looking device.
