Geek Squad Powered By Windows Mobile

In addition, with Windows Mobile-powered Smartphones, Geek Squad Agents have access to technical content when and where they need it and can easily communicate and collaborate with their peers.

Microsoft has a press release up this week detailing how Best Buy’s IT Support arm, Geek Squad, has chosen to use Windows Mobile and Microsoft CRM to help their field techs and consultants "increase productivity, better understand and serve consumers and small businesses, and develop stronger relationships with its customers."

There are some impressive numbers in the coverage of Geek Squad’s Windows Mobile usage – including 3,000 WM Smartphones being used to schedule and route customer service calls.

I look forward to seeing a case study of the Geek Squad’s Windows Mobile usage also – and learning a little more about the Microsoft CRM mobile client usage.
