Need a Palm Reading?

Michael Mace has another great post up at his Mobile Opportunity blog, that is a review and a reading between the lines of what was really meant by Palm’s CEO , Ed Colligan, at a recent press briefing.

The topics covered include the iPhone, the Moto Q, 3G, the future for straight-up (non-connected) PDAs, and lots of others - and Mace gives us some great insight on what Colligan’s words really imply for present and future directions for Palm.

With recent news of delays in the new Access Linux Platform’s release and Palm getting pretty much unlimited rights to the existing Palm OS, I think one thing we certainly want to see is a real update of the Palm OS … soon. The existing version is WAY behind the times and I think Palm risks losing more and more of its loyal users if the OS remains far behind its competitors.
