Weekend Giveaway: Win A Trip Around The Universe With Pocket Stars
Contest Deadline: Monday, December 11, 9:00 PM EST
Well, it has been a long week for a lot of us, so we thought we would offer you a chance to unwind by taking a trip across the universe (as The Beatles might have said). Nomad Electronics has generously offered three copies of its award winning Pocket Stars program. Read on for more information about how to win…
As always, enter the contest by posting a comment to this article. To be entered a second time, go to the Nomad Electronics website, download the trial of Pocket Stars (either the Pocket PC or Smartphone version) and send a screenshot to doug@justanothermobilemonday.com, or post your screen shot in the new JAMM forums.
Pocket Stars is much more than just an excellent program for your Windows Mobile device, it is a complete tour of the universe (fully illustrated of course) in the palm of your hand. So, go ahead, check out the Nomad Electronics website and read my review of Pocket Stars, and then just sit back, relax, and enjoy your fully guided tour of the universe.

Thank you for another great giveaway.
I read your review posted earlier, and got my hands on the trial version immediately. Impressive piece of software, with great graphics.

I had this program years ago. Never actually paid for it. Was it freeware at one time, or just nagware? Maybe I never kept a phone long enough to worry about registering as the trial may have been long.
Anyway….very cool and slick app. Very useful for noobie astronomers like me who cant tell the stars and planets apart in the night sky.
Cool graphics. The update looks waaay better than the original as well.

Here I am in The Maldives – almost overwhelmed by the stars – wishing I knew more about them, the constellations, the nebulae….resolve to get myself some software. Today, I came upon your recommendation, even though I forgot to wish upon a star!
Serendipity at its best!
Thanks!

Looks really great! I’m clueless about the stars and constellations (other than just the most obvious ones), so having something that matches up with the current date and location sounds like just what is needed.
