CNET has got a good interview with Microsoft’s boss man up – and in it he provides some thoughts on Windows Mobile and the growth of the smartphone and mobile device market generally.

There’s talk of how ‘shipments’ of Windows-powered mobile devices may soon outnumber PC shipments, what he thinks about the prospect of competition from an Apple iPhone soon, and who are the biggest players (and the not so big at all according to Ballmer) in the mobile devices arena.

Very good reading – shows just how huge the smartphone and mobile market is becoming.
