Palm’s Leading PIM Program Coming to Windows Mobile!

"Version 1.0 will have already a good amount of functionality (including category colors, pictures, icons, custom edit dialogs), and will bring over the paradigm of usability, simplicity, smoothness and UI pleasantness which characterizes Agendus across all platforms."

Iambic’s Agendus – the leading PIM application for Palm – is coming to Windows Mobile. They’ve announced on their forums that there will be a Windows Mobile version soon, and that a Public Beta program will be starting by mid-December.

This is great news for fans of Agendus who may have recently switched from a Palm to a Windows Mobile Treo, and good news for all of us who use Windows Mobile.

There are two powerhouse PIM programs in the Windows Mobile world – Agenda Fusion and Pocket Informant – and as of today, I’d say they’ve got some serious new competition!

I used Agendus on a Treo 650 and loved it, found it very impressive. I have high expectations for the Windows Mobile version and look forward to seeing and trying the beta release.

Good question. We have run contests on other new Iambic Windows Mobile offerings, so we’ll definitely explore all the possibilities with them when Agendus is fully out for the WM platform …
