New Voice Command 1.6 Released

Microsoft has released a new version of their Voice Command software this week.

New features include Bluetooth handsfree support (including initiation from the headset), spoken incoming email announcements; and support for A2DP/HFP combo headsets.

It had been a long while since I’d used Voice Command, but I’ve bought Version 1.6 and have been enjoying it a lot so far.  I haven’t got a good BT headset at the moment, but will be getting one soon and looking forward to trying out Voice Command’s new BT support.

More info on the new Voice Command can be found at:

Patrick,

I tried VC 1.6 this with my Tytn running Cingular 1.34 ROM. I can invoke VC via my BT headset, but all audio to/from the Tytn does not pass through the headset. Others have apparently are having the same problem.

Has anyone gotten this to work using HTC Hermes based devices?
