WMDC – More on Vista’s ActiveSync Replacement

Jason Langridge has a cool post up with an overview of the Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC) - the ActiveSync replacement in Windows Vista.

He’s got some very nice  screenshots along with a brief run-through of the new UI and some key features of WMDC – including 3 reasons why enterprises should welcome the WMDC:

1) It’s integrated into Vista so no deployment.

2) It’s updated via Windows Update – so no need to redeploy later releases.

3) It can be enabled/disabled via Group Policy!
