HTC To Provide a Windows Mobile CLOSE Function

Via: Modaco.com

Modaco is reporting that HTC has decided to take matters into their own hands – where Microsoft hasn’t so far – and include a task manager application in future device builds, that will allow users to have a ‘real’ close button within programs.

Apparently this will be featuring in all HTC Pocket PCs shipping with AKU 3.2 onwards.

This will be great news for lots of frustrated Windows Mobile users, who have cried out for this feature for years. Most of us have just gone with a 3rd party task manager to achieve this on our devices – and there are lots of good ones out there.

Nice move by HTC.

This is a great program. I often get annoyed when I need to go to “memory” window just to close the program. Another great app is WkTask – http://www.filemoo.net/download/wktask. I found it to be the great task manager & launcher too.
