i-mate K-Jar = Not a Worthy JasJar Successor?
Via: Modaco.com
“Well, the K-Jar is neither made by HTC nor anything to really shout about either.” – nedge2k at Modaco.com
That’s the upcoming i-mate K-Jar above. This has been viewed as a sort of a JasJar successor, but now it looks like not so much.
Modaco has a post up with some details of this new device which is not made by HTC, but by Tech faith Wireless for i-mate – including some pretty unexciting spec details:
- 2.8″ QVGA touch screen
- TI OMAP 750 CPU (speed?)
- 128MB ROM
- 64MB RAM
- Wi-Fi (802.11?)
I think I’d have to agree with nedge2k’s verdict in the quote at the top of this post. Maybe the photos just don’t do it justice, but this device just looks ugly and pedestrian compared to the JasJar too. Perhaps the folks at i-mate are really wishing they could put in a call to HTC right around now?
