A Look Back at The Beginnings of the iPod

Wired has a great post up titled ‘The Perfect Thing’ – which is a look back at 5 years ago and the beginnings of the iPod – and provides some very interesting history on how the iPod came about, the development process, where the name came from, and lots more.

Just one of the great little background bits in the article is a rundown of Bill Gates’ reaction the first time he ever laid eyes on an iPod.
