Sounds good – I can handle a little world-saving on a Tuesday morning. QoolApps has launched QTask for application switching, launching and closing on the Q using customizable hotkeys.

Here’s some of QTask’s features:

** Double Tap the HOME key to instantly load QTask. QTask loads extremely FAST!
** Custom Tabbed Interface easily organizes your running programs, processes and installed applications.
** Double Tap the "X" key to instantly close any APP. There’s No need to even load the QTask User Interface
** Double Tap the "Y" and "U" keys to flip between apps or cycle through your apps
** All Hotkeys are customizable
** QTask User Interface also displays: Date/Time, Battery Level, Free Memory %, and Free Storage %
** Customizable font size in QTask UI
** "Kill All Apps" and "Kill All but Selected" menu choices

For now, the program is available for the Moto Q only – but the site lists the Treo 700w /700wx as coming soon.
