Get Out of Your Sprint Contract For Free


Gizmodo – via The Consumerist – is reporting that it is possible to get out of a Sprint contract between now and October 31st, with no termination fees.

This is due to Sprint raising its charges for text messaging to 0.15 per message, which is said to constitute a ‘material change’ to service – and when there is a material change to service, their contracts apparently allow for canceling service within 30 days without penalty.
