Apple Refurb Deals – MacBook Pros at a Nice Price
![]()
Via: Gizmodo
A MacBook Pro for around $1,700 – that sounds pretty sweet to me.
I haven’t used a Mac in years, but have been starting to get tempted of late, and these really look like top-class machines. I know there have been a fair number of horror stories on overheating, odd whining noises and even some random shutdown issues. But … it seems a pretty good sign that even the majority of those recounting these troubles will still end up by saying they’d still never part with it and it’s an awesome laptop.
It’s definitely an attention grabber at that sort of price.

Put me on the list of folks that despite the issues I’ve had with my Macbook I wouldn’t want to be without one. OSx is a joy to use and the Macbook has been a great laptop for me.

You were one of the people I was thinking of. I don’t shop for laptops that often, but that price seems very attractive for *that* laptop …

Price is decent. The thing with Apple is they also hold their value really well. Your still can’t find a really cheap G4 Powerbook that’s in good shape (eBay). A Dell as old as the below PB would be no weher near as expensive….
