Zune Wireless – Engadget Says ‘Worthless for Now’

Uh-oh. If Engadget’s details today are correct, the wireless capabilities of the initial Zune devices are going to disappoint a lot of people.

Their article provides some clarification (provided by a Zune employee) of what the Zune can and cannot do wirelessly. The bad news?  The Cannot Do list:

  • Connect to the internet.
  • Download songs directly from the Zune store via WiFi.
  • Sync to your computer via WiFi.

No downloads from the Zune store seems like a BIG disappointment.

What do you all think?
