Vodafone has posted an official ‘available’ date for the new Treo 750v of October 2nd.

There are also reports on several sites saying the pricing on it is going to range from *free* (with a data plan) to around $240. That is a sweet price for a pretty sweet-looking device, if that’s accurate.

If that sort of price is accurate and sticks with it when it’s launched in the US by Cingular / others – and is not just a push for some presence and profile in Europe – that’s going to turn a lot of heads I reckon.

If you weren’t previously considering the 750v, would that sort of price get you looking in that direction?
