Winnerr………. :D :)

I always create a reminder a week or so before to get myself prepared for the the event (meeting/appointment etc) and keep snoozing it for 1 day till the D day and on that day, keep snoozing 1hr.

In this example I created the dual reminder for that monday, that reminds me to get the training manuals ready for the training that is coming up on thursday. And on thursday, i have the regular reminder for 1hr.

Here are my screen captures with tilted bell with number 2 to indicate the dual reminder.

Pretty Coooollllllllll. I love it!!!

Hope everybody else already got AF and only me and dgoldring are entering this contest ;)

Ravi.

Wiiiinnnnneeeerrrrr….

OK, so Ravi beat me to the punch, I was in a meeting. :)

So, there is entry number one.

Entry number 2, I will use the crap out of Agenda Fusion. For one thing, it links up with Diary 2.0 and makes a great system for managing appointments and tasks. I have a huge trial ccoming up and there are millions of small tasks I need to remember leading up to it…so, Agenda Fusion to the rescue. :) No better way to stay organized.

For entry number 3, we may have a problem. I downloaded AF to test it out the first time you ran this contest (when I didn’t win) and still had the trial the seocnd time (when I also didn’t win) soooooo, the best I can do is send you a screen shot of the trial expired screen and hope you will send me a registration code in return. :)

Good luck, Ravi. :)

dgoldring – Ref Part 3 – that’ll do fine – the intent was mainly to see that you’ve DLed the trial and used the app – so that screenshot will work nicely …

The dual reminders are really useful to plan for trips.
You could count down by days or weeks prior for planning, and also alarm 4-5 hours ahead to get ready to leave.
Would be a great tool!

Sorry, I realized my comment did not specifically mention the dual reminders. This is an incredibly useful feature for someone like me who hears the beep, sees teh reminder and then promptly ignores it. That way, you get a reminder that it is coming up soon and also a reminder when it is time to go. Now, if AF could only find a way to make the Axim kick you out the door, we’d be all set. :)

Screen shot is on its way. Sign me up for 3 entries. :)

Yay! Entry 1….

Entry 2 – Dual reminders help me to make sure I show up to class for exams. Sometimes after I make it to campus I forget about the time and the class…good to have dual reminders as the time draws near.

Entry 3 – Screenshot

Thanks a bunch!

Double reminders – Remind me one more time… please! I need all the help I can get. Good for meetings, due dates, deadlines… you name it.

The dual reminders would come in handy for reminding myself the night before an appointment is due. Okay, that’s pretty obvious.

But specifically, say I have to produce a podcast tomorrow, and I’ve scheduled an interview as part of it. I could create an all day appointment that says “produce podcast” and another that says “call John Doe.”

But using Dual reminders, I could just create one appointment, and remind myself at the start of the day that sometime today I have to write and edit the podcast, and a few minutes before 11:30 when it’s time to call John, another reminder will go off to alert me it’s interview time.

Chuck my name in the hat please. The dual reminders are cool cos I can finally stop
setting up several appointments in MS’s crappy PIM for the same event, just so I can remind
myself to ramp up for the real deal. Yeeeah. No more “Thursday 8:00pm, Remember to pack
for vacation in two days” and “Saturday 8:00am, Leave for vacation”. Wooohooo!!! :)
