iSkoot’s goal is to bring Skype to a wide variety of mobile phones not running Windows Mobile 5.0, an operating system the VoIP pioneer already caters for.

iSkoot has announced it’s bringing its Skype on mobile solution to the Treo 650 and 700p models, as well as extending its network coverage to dozens of countries outside the US.

The iSkoot program is free, but they take a cut of charges incurred when a user’s phone connects over the cellular network.
