Outlook Web Access Light 2007 – Looks Good

Via: PocketPCThoughts.com

Outlook Web Access Light 2007 is "the solution for all browsers and operating systems other than IE6 or IE7 on Windows".

There’s a good post up about this upcoming version at the MS Exchange team’s blog site, which is always good stuff and has a great name (‘You Had Me at EHLO’).

What sounds good about the upcoming Light version of OWA 2007?  Here’s a short list:

– The guy writing the post, the MS Product Designer for it, announces himself as a Firefox user

– The description of the team’s mission for the Light version: "We wanted to create an experience that felt open and inviting; an interface that would get out of the way and let you accomplish your tasks as efficiently as possible, while maintaining the richness of features that OWA Premium offers."

 –  Faster logon times for slow connections.

– Browser Support: Firefox, Safari, Opera, Netscape, IE7, IE6, IE5.5, IE5.01 and IE5.2 on Mac
