Contest Deadline – Thursday September 14th, 9:00am US CDT
Another Monday, another giveaway offer to help ease into the new week. As part of our ongoing monthly promotion, ElectricPocket are generously offering 3 Free copies of their excellent BugMe Notepad program to our readers.
Read on for some features of the application – with versions for Windows Mobile, Palm, and Symbian Series 60 – and details on How To Win …
Here’s a little more background on some of the cool features of the Windows Mobile version of BugMe Notepad:
Powerful Notepad…
Take notes in your own handwriting or with text.
Jot quick notes as you go. Make a quick sketch, draw a map or a doodle. BugMe!’s notepad captures what you draw directly on your handheld’s screen, making note taking fast, easy and accurate.
Import pictures and photographs, or take screenshots of applications on your Pocket PC and use these as your notes.
Send your notes from your Pocket PC by email or MMS, giving you a great way to exchange informal notes, sketches with colleagues and friends.
Quick Visual Alarms…
Use your notes as visual alarms – choose quickly from a pick list, or set an alarm for any time or day you want…
Productive – and Fun!
Smooth integration with your Windows Today screen means your BugMe! notes are always to hand – to view upcoming events, or create new notes in an instant.
Personalize BugMe! by adding quick voice notes – or use any one of your own photos or pictures as the background to a BugMe! note…
How To Win:
The deadline for contest entry is 9:00am US CDT this Thursday, September 14th.
In order to be in with a chance to win one of the free copies of BugMe Notepad all you need to do is add a comment to this post.
Then we’ll take your nickname for the site and throw it into the proverbial Contest Hat – out of which we’ll pick our 3 winners on Thursday.
To make this a little more interesting, if you grab a trial version of the app and send us a screenshot of an interesting / creative use of its abilities, we’ll chuck your name in the hat twice! Send your screenshots to: administrator at justanothermobilemonday.com (with an @ sign replacing the ‘at’ portion of that naturally).

Dpig
PS: No screen shots, because I can’t do that from work, but a cool program nonetheless.

Hey Doug, that’s 1:50AM Texas time (I’m in Honolulu).
We should ask Patrick what’s the big idea posting it at 1:50AM. lol.

Sep 11, 2006
Ah, my bad, NoWire. I forgot that you live somewhere over the rainbow.
But that is a good point…does Patrickj ever sleep?? Maybe that should be the next contest.

Hey Ravi – nice work. Dgoldring and Nowire – yup, no sleep over here – too hot to sleep in Texas ya know.
dgoldring
Sep 12, 2006
Well, I definately think the next contest should be to guess what Patrick is doing up so late at night and does he ever sleep???
BTW, how about a contest for Flexmail? That is a great program which just released a new version (and which I am otherwise too cheap to pay for).
Anyway, I am hoping that if I post enough comments, my luck will change and I will win something. Of course, NoWire’s trick seems to work too. If I just say Wiiiiiinnnnnnneeeeerrrr over and over again, maybe I’ll convince you that I have already won.

LOL.
Or maybe a contest within a contest. It’ll be “what time or when will Patrick post the next contest”…
I believe it does work (wiiiiiineeeeeeeeeeeeeeerr!). lol.
Hey Doug, did you get your CAP yet? I’m still waiting for my BT headphones…
Wiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeer! Oh wait, I can’t win here anymore… sigh…
dgoldring
Sep 12, 2006
Nowire, I did get my cap. It is very cool.
I can still win here, so I’ll do this one in honor of NoWire…Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeerrrrrrrrr.
Does our name go in the hat just once or once for each post??? Cause I can keep this up all day.

Good luck to all!

Nowire – that is a very good point – only one screenshot so far means only one name going into the Offical Contest Hat (which is a splendid Guinness hat by the way) – still time for some more screenshot offerings though …
dgoldring
Sep 13, 2006
Waitaminute, I am confused. Doesn’t everyone go into the hat, but people who post a screen shot go in the hat twice?? Am I correct???
Anyway, I think the hat should be a booby prize. Hey, you didn’t win the contest, but you get this hat instead.
Doug
Nowire
Sep 13, 2006
Can you say “booby” here…
Anyway, I guess it’s just your chances are greater if you have 2 names in the hat instead of 1…
Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooobbbbbbbbbbbby!!!

Sep 13, 2006
Eh, you know I won’t win that one either, whatever you want to call it, NoWire…:)

Sep 13, 2006
only people who posted a screenshot should go in the hat
just kidding
Ravi.
dgoldring
Sep 13, 2006
I agree with Ravi. He should win all three and then decide who gets the extra two copies. (Oooh, oooh, pick me Mr. Cah-Ter (that was on old reference for anyone who got it)).

This app is really nice. Specially now that it’s WM5 compatible.
If I have a choice, I’ll give one to dgoldring. Just because he never wins. lol!

Sep 14, 2006
Come on, BugMe!!!, I would like to win this cool app. =))
PatrickJ
Sep 14, 2006
Ravi’s name definitely goes in twice for the screenshot effort. Dgoldring – the hat cannot be offered up as 2nd prize – did I mention it’s a Guinness hat? It is sacred and stuff …
Merlin
Sep 14, 2006
I sent out 4 emails yesterday with screenshots and they all bounced back.
PatrickJ
Sep 14, 2006
Merlin – not sure why the bouncebacks – but I’ll get your name in the hat twice for the effort …
