Well, maybe not a rival to the Q in the catchy, one-letter name department – with that ‘roll right off your tongue’ SGH-i600 tag. 

But in terms of specifications, this would seem to match up well, and has a couple areas where it trumps the Q for now.  Not sure if Samsung has the name / marketing appeal though to really make an impact – at least in the US and WM5 converged devices area right now.

The spec looks pretty good though – it’s tri-band GSM, and supports HSDPA. Per Gizmodo’s post, it’s already FCC approved, and may show up soon with Cingular.
