"The dealer-installed accessory features a ruggedized touchscreen tablet computer running Windows XP Professional with wireless broadband, and workers on the go can purchase additional accessories like GPS navigation, a printer, digital camera and credit card scanner for taking payments on the spot."

Ford has announced that its FordLink Mobile Office is now available (for a couple of specific truck lines) at US dealerships.

Aimed primarily at construction industry contractors, this system has a list of features and optional accessories intended to provide a full office within the vehicle – and the PC can be removed from its cradle and used like a laptop as well.

I guess one of the first things that comes to mind is … how good is Ford’s tech support?  Are they ready for GPS, scanning, printing, and general XP questions?
