Interesting Results on WM Team Blog’s Feature Dollars Wish List Question

"Thanks for all the detailed suggestions! I’ll get it to product planning and the appropriate feature teams."

There are some interesting results reported on the Windows Mobile Team blog, to their recent question posed to users on how they would spend $100 ‘feature dollars’.

Topping the list were the dreaded ‘Other’, shell, and sync. The answers are organized by which group would handle each type of feature request. Shell apparently includes all requests for more one-handed operation.

Some of the results are surprising to me. I’m a little surprised that sync was not Number 1, and also to see Pocket IE and Messaging down towards the bottom of the list – I would have thought lots of users would want to see the in-built browser and mail apps drastically upgraded.

The Windows Mobile Team runs a very good blog, and it’s nice to see them saying this sort of user feedback will get fed straight into their product planning.

Have a look at the results and see what you think:
