More Cingular 8525 (Hermes) Pics at Engadget
Source: Engadget
Engadget has another pic today of the (very soon) upcoming Cingular HTC Hermes model, the 8525.
The set of pics (posted on Howard Forums) seem to confirm that the front-facing camera will be stripped out of Cingular’s version of this device. On the bright side though, comments along with the original pics post indicate that a 30-minute play with the device showed some nice speed improvements (as expected) over the 8125 – in application performance and internet connection speeds.
More details and link to the set of pics are at the Engadget piece:

… Treo 750 or Cingular 8525 … decisions – decisions.
Any thoughts on which is the more appealing device? I am caught in the middle of which one I want more. i love my 8125, but more speed would be really nice. I like the larger screen on the 8125 compared to the Treo also, but something about the Treo 750 is screaming at me =)

One mroe thing … why couldn’t Cingular leave it a dark color scheme like the iMate version??!! I love the dark look. The shiny version just doesn’t quite look the same.

Definitely agree with that – the Cingular look is kinda boring in comparison …
