Cortado – Another Push Email Option for Windows Mobile Devices

Cortado is launching a direct push email service for Windows Mobile devices. Pricing starts at $6.50 per month, and month-to-month plans are available – so pretty good entry-level there for those who need a hosted Exchange account and instant push to their device. They’re also offering a two-month trial run.

The Exchange account side of things offers 250mb of storage space, which is not massive by any means – but manageable if you’re not a real high-volume mail user I guess.  It will work with any Windows Mobile device with the MSFP (Messaging & Security Feature Pack) installed.

The other potentially interesting thing with the Cortado service is that they are promising to build in some neat add-on services, based on ThinPrint (their parent company) mobile solutions – like a remote attachment viewer, that allows you to view attachments without having to download them or have a relevant app installed on your device.
