Wow… PatrickJ’s been busy. I’m slacking this weekend. Unfortunately my wife has some projects in her mind (ultimately being executed by yours truely)!
Congrats to the winners. I’ve never tried Agenda Fusion – I guess I should try getting on the boat!

Thanks, Patrickj. I’m only a little bummed since my trial on Agenda Fusion has run out, so it would have been nice to get it for free. And I need that much more than the RSS feeder. I was just bumming because I was literally logging on every half hour or so and had logged off moments before you posted the contest and then logged back in just in time to be minutes too late.:( Oh well. I’ve won enough from you in the past that I can’t complain too much.
I’ll keep watching for more of your great contests.

Wow, seems like I’ve been missing out with AF. I’ve been a die-hard PI user eversince, and haven’t really gave any other PIM a chance, but WOW AF is niiiiice. Me like!
PI will have to go to my software “vault” for now…
Oh, the only thing is I’m having some “refresh” problem with the tabs. Sometimes it’s there, and sometimes it’s not (not intentionally). I guess I need to do some reading to find out what’s the scoop.
Congrats to everyone!

Dgoldring – thanks for the upbeat attitude and nice comments. I feel for you – that does sound like awfully bad luck on timing. I am (very) open to suggestions from any of you if you think there is a better format for these or for determining winners. My view up to now has been that it is just simple and straighforward with the ‘first 5′ approach – I don’t especially want to be judging who makes the best comment or similar. I suppose we could look at making it more of a challenge – where you have to come up with a fact or something from a previous post, or from the developer’s site, but then it’s still really just a race at the end.
Anyway, like I say, happy to hear suggestions in here on this. The *very Alpha* forums section has a Suggestions area – have at it if you guys / gals have good ideas …

Patrickj, I have to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed many of the contests you have done here. I am always impressed by the caliber of software you are able to give away.
I like the fact that you odn’t have to “do anything” to win.
As far as suggestions, the only thing I can think of is if you put some kind of a limit on how many times you can win. For example, you can only win one contest in a 30 day period or something like that. This is popular with radio stations who do similar kinds of contests. It ensures that the maximum number of different people are able to participate and win, and you don’t see the same names over and over again. That being said, I have not gone back through and looked to see how many names we see over and over again, or to know how many readers you have if this would be realistic. Just a thought.
Keep up the good work.
